Monaco studies vintage Heuer chronographs, and nothing else.
Vintage Heuer chronographs only. No TAG Heuer, no post-merger watches, no time-only models, no quartz. The era runs 1963–1985 — from the Carrera's 1963 launch, the start of Jack Heuer's defining chronograph line, to the 1985 TAG acquisition that ends the pre-TAG period. Eligibility is by the reference's era; borderline individual examples are a publication-time call, never a sweep-time call.
Layer 1 — aggregate what is public. Market data, listings, results, and history that are publicly available, gathered systematically — a nightly sweep of thirteen venues — under the honesty rules below.
Layer 2 — license media through partnerships. Photography and media are never scraped or taken. They are sourced via partnerships with the dealers and collectors who own them, with permission in writing and attribution. Until those partnerships file a photograph, a dossier page carries a placeholder — an empty frame is honest; a stolen image is not.
· A bid is never an asking price.
· A disappearance is never a sale: a listing that stops appearing is recorded as no longer appearing in our nightly sweep — not a confirmed sale.
· A realized price is published only when the venue's own page explicitly states it.
· Auction figures are estimates unless a published result says otherwise, and are labeled as such.
· Currencies are never silently converted; figures carry the currency they were listed in.
· Every listing's reference is verified from its own title and details before it joins the record — candidates that fail verification are turned away at the gate, and the inaugural report says how many.
The nightly sweep covers thirteen venues — dealer stock, marketplaces, and auction houses — with per-reference searches and a first-page depth convention. Some venues block automated checks on some nights; a blocked venue is recorded as blocked, never as zero. On the final pre-launch sweep, Phillips was blocked (as it has been since October 23) and eBay was partially blocked; the tracked total is the desk's verified record, not a claim about the whole market.
Carrera 2447 · 1153 · 110.253 — Autavia 2446 · 1163 · 11630 — Monaco 1133 · 73633 — Camaro 7220 — Silverstone 110.313 — Montreal 110.503 — Calculator 110.633 — Monza 150.501 — Skipper 15640. One reference was pruned before the baseline: Carrera 1553, a chronically thin derivative of the 1153 family, recorded here so the prune is deliberate, not an oversight.
